Do you offer health benefits?We have a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, disability and even identity theft protection.

Do you have a training program?Due to the various types of freight we haul, we need experienced flatbed drivers. For that reason we do not offer a training program.

What can I expect to earn when just starting at SPD?Your starting pay is dependant on your experience in flatbedding. Please call recruiting at 360-474-5899 to get the most accurate rates.

Do you offer a lease purchase?No.

What are the minimum requirements to get hired?1 year CDL A experience and 6 months of verifiable flatbed experience.

How long are your drivers out for?Out three weeks, home 4.5 days.

How does your orientation work?Our orientation takes place at our home terminal in Arlington, WA. We cover your flight, shuttle to the hotel, the hotel room, breakfasts and lunches. You just need to get yourself to the airport to catch the flight here!

Do you have a pet policy?Yes! A deposit is required.

How much hauling capacity can SPD provide?With Smokey Point Distributing being a part of the Daseke family, we are able to utilize the entire fleet. This gives us 4,600 trucks to pick from, and if we are still not able to find a pair up for your freight we have hand-picked, trusted, carrier partners that we can utilize.

Are you able to do OD loads?Yes, we have qualified drivers and equipment for OD freight, all the way up to super loads.

Is there a way that we can track the truck carrying my load?Absolutely! We can provide a link that gives you live, real time, tracking of where the truck is, so that you can know where your freight is at all times.

What kind of trailers does your company have?We specialize in flatbed, step deck, conestoga, and double drop freight. Most of our trailers are 53’ long, with the step decks having 11’ of upper deck and 42’ of lower.

What parts of the country do you cover?We cover all lower 48 states, Alaska, and into Canada and Mexico.

How much weight are your trucks able to handle?We have new aluminum trailers, which allows us to carry up to 49k lbs.
